About the Role

As a Junior or Intermediate Architectural Technologist, you will join our team on a variety of projects, including residential, multi-residential, commercial, wellness, office, and large-scale real estate developments. You’ll work closely with architects and project managers to translate design ideas into practical, well-executed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team from early design through project development to deliver efficient, practical solutions
  • Assist architects and project managers with design, layout, presentation drawings, and construction documentation
  • Develop detailed execution plans with high-quality, accurate deliverables
  • Contribute to the selection of materials, finishes, and architectural elements, considering aesthetics, technical requirements, and sustainability
  • Participate in coordination and programming meetings, sharing expertise on project goals, constraints, and client needs

Who We’re Looking For

  • DEC in Architectural Technology
  • 3–8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Rhinoceros, and Vray/Enscape is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in French; English proficiency is an asset
  • Knowledge of Quebec Construction Code and applicable standards
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
  • Advanced technical knowledge and curiosity, with an interest in innovation in architecture
  • Familiarity with Energy Code and ASP construction card is an asset

    As a junior/intermediate architect, you will be called upon to work, with our team of enthusiasts, on various projects in various residential, multi-residential, retail, wellness and office markets, but also on large-scale real estate development projects.

    Your main responsibilities

    • Participate in all phases of a project, from initial design to final implementation, while respecting deadlines and budgets
    • Coordinate with the customer the functional and technical program and the definition of needs
    • Develop plans taking into account customer needs, construction standards and environmental issues
    • Develop the design of plans and specifications
    • Develop the production of technical construction details
    • Maintain a professional attitude with customers and employees
    • Coordinate and prepare the production of technical documents, specifications, tenders and presentations
    • Prepare weekly tasks and deliverables to be sent to the project team
    • Assist the site project manager during the construction phase
    • Ensure clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders
    • Participate in the supervision of work during construction and write visit notes, revisions of workshop drawings and instructions

    Job requirements

    • Have a master's degree in Quebec architecture and be a member of the OAQ
    • Have between 3 and 8 years of relevant experience
    • Excellent knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Office and Adobe suites and Rhionoceros
    • Excellent oral and written communication in French
    • Knowledge of the Quebec Construction Code, the Energy Code and applicable standards
    • Positive attitude, team spirit, rigor and attention to detail
    • Design, innovation and design skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and various stakeholders
    • Advanced technical knowledge, technical curiosity, and interest in architectural innovation
    • ASP construction card — an asset
